click here to purchase your tickets today!

We’re getting into the holiday spirit with our 2nd annual Holiday Mixer Celebration, where we give thanks to those who have helped EYTE provide a cultural foundation within the city of Elizabeth, NJ, with giveaways, music, free photo booth pictures, and food with an open bar! Tickets are now available for purchase, so join in the celebration Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 4 PM – 8 PM at The Lobby in Elizabeth, NJ.

It’s that time when we reflect on the closing year and embrace the spirit of giving and being thankful to those who have supported and continue to support the mission of the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble. So much of what has been produced by EYTE would not have been possible without the enormous support of our local and artistic communities. From the highest offices in the city of Elizabeth to the unconditional support from friends and family – we are grateful, and we thank you.

We’re asking you to continue that support by participating in the celebration on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at The Lobby in Elizabeth, NJ. Tickets are available and on-sale-now!

We would like to warmly welcome all vendors who would like to participate in this time of thanks and celebration! If you believe your business will be an excellent fit for this event and are interested, please feel free to click here to fill out our form. A member from the team will be in touch with you shortly once completed.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this special event, and again, thank you for your support.

This event is indoors. Face coverings are strongly recommended for those who are unvaccinated. Proof of vaccination will not be required.

Everyone should practice recommended social distancing guidelines during their time at all EYTE events.

  • In addition to using hand sanitizing stations onsite, everyone is encouraged to wash their hands regularly while at the event.
  • If you are feeling ill, we ask that you refrain from attending the performance and visit us when you are feeling healthy.
  • Please take care of yourself and your fellow patrons by respecting our protocols and procedures. If, for any reason, you refuse to abide by our safety measures, you will be removed without a refund.
  • Please contact us if you test positive for COVID-19 after attending a show.  Reach out to us at

COVID-19 is extremely contagious and an inherent risk in all public locations where people are present. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. People who show no symptoms can spread the coronavirus if they are infected and any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. EYTE has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, we cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. By attending EYTE events, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19 and agree not to hold EYTE; or any of its affiliates, employees, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.

this year's vendor presence has grown since our first annual holiday mixer and we're excited to provide this platform for local businesses - supporting those who support us! Look for the following vendors at this year's holiday mixer:

Why worry about the results when Jesus is in the Lab? Jesus is in the lab was born organically through that natural worry that takes over us all. When we put our cares in God's hands, He puts His Peace in our Hearts. So stop worrying about the results, because "Jesus is in the Lab"!

Your contribution to the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble makes you an ally in our efforts to help young people build capacity for social change through art-making.

As an organization committed to deepening artistic engagement in communities, while fighting for justice, we are looking for your support!

Thank You On This #GivingTuesday

On behalf of our community of students, teaching artists, designers, and scholars, please accept our deep gratitude for your support of EYTE’s urgent programming. Your role is essential. We are withstanding 2020’s insurmountable challenges because of your commitment to our mission.

The work continues.

On Black Friday, EYTE raised a total of $2,500! We are on our way to reaching our end-of year goal of $8,000.00.

What’s ahead for us? What will your help support?

  • The Trauma of Covid, An Oral History Project, in collaboration with the Elizabeth Public Library, Special Collections

The pandemic is wreaking havoc on learning and schools. Trauma-informed arts education, and the kind of social-emotional learning EYTE centers, can help students move through this moment and serve as a model for transformative online spaces.

This is a critical period. Your participation matters.

For #GivingTuesday, join us as a donor.  You have a tremendous part to play. For those who have already donated: You stepped-up in meeting the moment. Continue your role. Share this plea by forwarding this email to those who are ready to step into their accompliceship. Remind them that together we can make a real difference.

Thank you for investing in us.

In solidarity,

Theo Perkins
Executive & Artistic Director
