Tickets are now available for purchase, so join in the celebration Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 6 PM – 10 PM at The Lobby in Elizabeth, NJ.

This year, we are honoring leaders in the community. Our 2022 Honorees are:

  • Giacomo Sacca- Chief of Police, Elizabeth Police Department

It’s that time when we reflect on the closing year and embrace the spirit of giving and being thankful to those who have supported and continue to support the mission of the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble. So much of what has been produced by EYTE would not have been possible without the enormous support of our local and artistic communities. From the highest offices in the city of Elizabeth to the unconditional support from friends and family – we are grateful, and we thank you.

We’re asking you to continue that support by participating in the celebration on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at The Lobby in Elizabeth, NJ. Tickets are available and on sale now! We would like to warmly welcome all vendors who would like to participate in this time of thanks and celebration! If you believe your business will be an excellent fit for this event and are interested, please feel free to click here to fill out our form. A member from the team will be in touch with you shortly once completed. We look forward to seeing everyone at this special event, and again, thank you for your support.

Thank You On This #GivingTuesday

Friends,

On behalf of our community of students, teaching artists, designers, and scholars, please accept our deep gratitude for your support of EYTE’s urgent programming. Your role is essential. We are withstanding 2020’s insurmountable challenges because of your commitment to our mission.

The work continues.

On Black Friday, EYTE raised a total of $2,500! We are on our way to reaching our end-of year goal of $8,000.00.

What’s ahead for us? What will your help support?

  • The Trauma of Covid, An Oral History Project, in collaboration with the Elizabeth Public Library, Special Collections

The pandemic is wreaking havoc on learning and schools. Trauma-informed arts education, and the kind of social-emotional learning EYTE centers, can help students move through this moment and serve as a model for transformative online spaces.

This is a critical period. Your participation matters.

For #GivingTuesday, join us as a donor.  You have a tremendous part to play. For those who have already donated: You stepped-up in meeting the moment. Continue your role. Share this plea by forwarding this email to those who are ready to step into their accompliceship. Remind them that together we can make a real difference.

Thank you for investing in us.

In solidarity,

Theo Perkins
Executive & Artistic Director
